Level 4 Meets

Posted: October 21, 2010 by thetrooth in Uncategorized

I am a GAGE Parent. I was told that the Missouri State Committee has taken away the Level 4 State Meet in December and the Level 4 Qualifier in February that GAGE was hosting. I can only assume that Al did not convince them that he had a “for sure” location for these meets. I have been waiting, patiently, to find out where GAGE is moving to. I would like GAGE to address this issue immediately, so I can make an informed decision about what to do with my daughter. Thank you.

  1. GAGEemployee says:

Ma’am I would contact us on our facebook, which is called GAGE gym. That is where you can get all the right info.

    • facebook says:

I am a “non facebook” person. That’s right, I do not have a facebook account. Could someone tell me what is on the Gage Gym facebook that is giving all the “right” info?

      • Gym Rats Mom says:

Your kid propably has a facebook account or one of your friends does. Being a “non-facebook” person isn’t a good reason not to get the information if you really want it. After all, you obviously have a computer with internet access and it is free to sign up for facebook.

  2. Correct says:

This is correct info. Mo took away both meets awarded to GAGE and Al. If you don’t believe it contact MO state chairman Zina Fudge.

  3. update4you says:

Check out MEGA’s website. They have added to thier website the fall lvl 3/4 state meet. Scheduled the same weekend as before. So a new host has been decided.

  4. JustaNote says:

I doubt hosting gymnastics meets means anything to Al except maybe a little extra cash. It’s all about finding and training another Olympic hopeful and either making her or breaking her. This attitude is what has gotten Gage where it is today. They “thought” having 2 silver medalists was going to bring in the big money and dozens of hopefuls from all over the country…..this didn’t happen……… and here we are! I’d like to see a judge order them both to reopen that gym……for the sake of the gymnasts.. then work out the legal crud, like what they should have done in first place, grow up and take responsibilty for your failures.

Don’t underestimate the income potential of a Level 4 State Meet and Qualifier. Level 4 is the plumb. It’s the MOST profitable level. All those parents new to the sport buy everything and bring the grandparents too.
